our beliefs
We firmly believe everyone has the right to define themselves and not be labelled by their circumstances. We believe everyone should be valued as individuals as well as members of the community. We believe every person has skills, experience and understanding that they can draw on in tackling the problems they face. This makes them the true experts in finding ways forward. We believe that the answers lie in listening to the people we work with and using our joint expertise to develop relevant services. We are concerned with the many complex reasons behind social exclusion and are keen to identify the causes as well as treat the outcomes.
