What We Do

creating a wildlife gardenCaer Las has been working across South Wales for over thirty years, helping vulnerable people gain their deserved place as valued members of society.

Our dedicated workforce supports around 1,000 people every year through a range of services.  Some are well established such as help with housing, skills or mental health issues.  Others take a more innovative approach like our scholarships and urban wildlife garden.  All are focused on tackling social exclusion.

Years of experience working with clients in a collaborative approach helps us identify and understand the many factors behind social exclusion.  By providing opportunities, support and encouragement, we help people take positive action on the issues that matter to them and we seek to harness what we learn together to inform wider and lasting social change.

We’re always looking for new ways to strengthen and extend our services.  Plans currently in development include taking advantage of our strong asset base and investing in an innovative social enterprise. This will help us become more self-sustaining while providing a creative yet practical solution for our clients.
