Outreach Project

The Swansea Outreach Project is for single people who are homeless, or who feel they may be at risk of becoming homeless.  Our knowledgeable team provide friendly drop-in sessions as well as external surgeries, offering practical advice and support around topics such as:

  • Housing
  • Benefits
  • Finances
  • Substance misuse
  • Settling into a home

We also provide opportunities for group activities, which offer positive, shared experiences.  These are proven to build confidence and help people feel more valued in their community.  For example, many clients took an active part in developing our urban wildlife garden.

Routes Project

Often people are so affected by their circumstances that they can’t find a way out alone and don’t know who to turn to.  Our Routes Project in Neath Port Talbot is for people aged 16 and over, who are in this situation and would like help getting their lives back on track.

We offer support working out what’s needed then identify available opportunities and services to meet these requirements.  Our team offer one-to-one confidential support and advice with matters such as budgeting, benefits, healthcare, skills and preventing homelessness.

Probation Housing Advice

Based in Bridgend, the Housing Advice service advises probation clients that are experiencing difficulties in accessing accommodation.  Staff provide information, advocacy and advice on housing rights.  They also offer advice on appropriate services and casework support.
