Caer Las warmly welcomes also 2 Global Exchange placements to our organisation.
The Global Xchange programme aims to support the development of active global citizens, committed to working for positive change within communities, by placing young people on a six-month exchange programme which gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities.
Caer Las welcomes DWP work placements
Caer Las is proud to announce that in partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions is providing short term placements in it's Connect project in Swansea. The aim of the placements is for DWP staff to have a real insight into the day to day lives of their client group and also assist in developing local networks in and around the Swansea area. The placement programme will run for the rest of 2008 and early 2009.

Dear Friends, old and new
Caer Las has been through some exciting changes recently. We feel this is a good time, therefore, to update our current partners and introduce ourselves to new audiences that may have an interest in our work.
Caer Las held an Open Day for its
Routes project on Friday 9th May at its office in Forge Road, which was launched by Dr
Brian Gibbons, Assembly Member for Aberavon.
